Now the shares haven’t a market. M. Grey Lynn. —The Waihi Grand Junction has a 10-year contract, dating from 1925, with the Waihi G.M. Co., under the terms of which the latter company works the Junction property on a 50-50 basis. So far debits, and not profits, have been written tip against the Junction concern. Produce, Auckland. —Yes, onions are drawn from Japan practically every year. In 1925 the value of the onio>ns imported into this country from Japan was £10,751. Imports into New Zealand from Japan over the last five years have averaged in value slightly over £500,000. In 1925 the principal article was silk, valued at £311,000. Timber formed a substantial import at £71,729 in the same year.
