ALMOND FINGERS j jALF lb flour, lib of butter , / # one egg, two tablespoons of sugar, one teaspoon baking powder. Mix into stiff paste, using only the yolk of the egg , and roll out. Spread with meringue icing, made by folding half teacup of sugar , and some chopped nuts, into the stiffly-beated white of the egg. Cut into fingers, and bake in a moderate oven.
