GRAND

“THE BLOOD SHIP” “The Blood Ship,” starring Hobart Bosworth, Jacqueline Logan and Richard Arlen, will be shown for the last time this evening at the Grand Theatre. Hobart Bosworth plays the part of Captain Swope, of the “Golden Bough,” hated by every sailor who knew him. His vessel, nicknamed “The Blood Ship,” because of the bestiality and cruelty with which he and Fitzgibbons, his first mate, treated their crews, was avoided by seamen in every port. “Resurrection,” Leo Tolstoy’s immortal story of the love of a Russian Prince for a humble peasant girl, is also being shown. The role of the prince is played by Rod La Rocque, and the peasant girl by Dolores Del Rio.
