SEA SCOUTS’ TRIDENT

CALLIOPE TROOP’S SUCCESS His Excellency the Governor-Gen-eral, Sir Charles Fergusson, will present a silver trident to the Calliope Sea Scouts in the Drill Hall, Rutland Street, on Saturday, June 2. The trident was presented for competition between the Sea Scouts of New Zealand by Earl Jellicoe, and is awarded to the best troop of all-round Sea Scouts. The Calliope troop has been very close to the top in past competitions, and has now succeeded in winning the trophy for the first time.
