“SURPRISE VISIT”
NURSES’ ROOM RANSACKED An inspection of the nurses’ cottages at St. Helen’s Hospital was made by a blonde young man last Sunday night, and after his surprise visit, the nurses found that a room had been ransacked and £1 and silk clothing stolen. The door of Sister O’Sullivan’s room opened suddenly and the intruder, discovering the nurse, said “Sorry-, wrong room.” The nurse immediately' gave the alarm, but the thief ran away. Sister Ward’s room was ransacked.
