GRAFT CHARGE DENIED
CANADIAN IMMIGRATION (United P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. OTTAWA., Tuesday. Before the immigration inquiry committee, Mr. E. J. McMurray, a former Solicitor-General, denied absolutely dealing in the special immigration permits for 100 dollars each. He protested against the scandalisation of public men, as he had been scandalised by such a suggestion.
