Fail on to Road. —Mr. Crari, of Tokanui, was driving - from Te Awamutu in a light trap with Mrs. Palmer, an elderly woman, when the horse slipped and fell. Mrs. Palmer was thrown out on to the road. She sustained a fractured left arm. and a cut near one eye. She was removed to a private hospital.
