CHRISTCHURCH JUBILEE FOR ALL OR NONE Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. On account of the low prices being charges for tickets and necessity for keeping expenditure to reasonable limits, it has been decided that no intoxicating liquor will be provided a. any of the functions in connection wun the city’s diamond jubilee celebrations. A proposal was made that liquor should be provided at the main tabte at the civic luncheon and none at tne other tables, but the Mayor, the J. K. Archer, took the sfifnd that -hen* should either be liquor for everyone or for none. As it was found impossibe to provide liquor for everyone without incurring a loss on the function it agreed to cut it out altogether.
