COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Apanui sails from Auckland at midnight to-night for Great Barrier, returning at 6 p.m. to-morrow. The Matangi sails at 7 p.m. to-day for Tauranga and is due back in Auckland at 7 a.m. on Friday. The Rangitoto leaves for Thames at 4 p.m. to-day, returning to Auckland at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The Hauiti sailed at 1 p.m. to-day for , Kopu and Turua. She is due back here I at 2 p.m. to-morrow. j The Omana sailed for Waiheke at 10 i a.m. to-day and is due back at 6.15 p.m.
to-day. She sails for Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana at 1 p.m. to-morrow and is due back in Auckland at 5 a.m. on Friday.
The Kawau left Auckland at 10 o'clock this morning for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha. She is due back at 6 p.m. to-morrow. The Taniwha is due in Auckland at 6.30 a.m. to-morrow from Paeroa and sails on the return trip at 2 p.m. the same day. The Claymore is expected to arrive here at 7.30 a.m. to-morrow from Whangarei. She sails on the return trip at 7 p.m. the same day. The Pono sails from Auckland at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu. She is due back here about Sunday or Monday. The Awahou sailed yesterdaj- for East Coast Bays. The Gunbar is due at Auckland on Saturday from the East Coast and sails next Monday on her return trip to East Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. The Kartigi, from Westport, left Napier at 3 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due at 7 a.m. to-morrow. After discharge here, the Kartigi loads at Auckland, and sails on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Waikouaiti leaves Lyttelton at 11 a.m. to-morrow for Auckland direct, where she is due on Sunday. After discharge here she proceeds to Newcastle, thence Sydney. The Wingatui, rrom Dunedin, left Timaru at 6 p.m. yesterday for Picton, Wellington and Auckland. She is due here about Monday next. The Waipiata left Dunedin at 5 p.m. yesterday, and leaves Timaru at 4.30 p.m. to-day, via Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland. She should arrive here early next week. The Waimea, whicn sailed from here last evening for Gisborne and Napier, returns to Auckland on Sunday. The Kurow, en route from Bluff, Dunedin and Lyttelton, leaves Wellington today for Napier, Gisborne and Auckland. She is due here about Monday next. Teh Kaponga is due at Auckland at 4 a.m. to-morrow from Westport, via New Plymouth, and after discharge here proceeds to Greymouth. The Kaitangata is to load at Greymouth to-morrow for Auckland and should arrive here early next week. The Baron Fairlie left Auckland last evening for New Plymouth, where she completes her discharge of basic slag before proceeding to Port Kemhla for bunkers, thence Port Pirie to load for Home. The Prunus is due at Westport to-day from Auckland for bunkers, and tomorrow. she leaves for Nauru Island to load for Australia.
