MARTON STATION ROBBED
SOME TOBACCO STOLEN (Special to THE SUN) MARTON, Tuesday. Early yesterday morning thieves broke into the refreshment rooms at Marton Junction station. Entrance was gained by smashing a window to enable a latch to be undone, and a small quantity of tobacco was taken. Tobacco and other goods worth about £IOO were stored in the rooms, and it is remarkable that only sufficient was taken for the robbers’ immediate needs.
