WAIKATO TEAM FOR AUCKLAND The Management Committee of the Auckland Football Association received an entry from the Belmont Club for the Chatham Cup competition at its meeting last evening. Other clubs to | enter are Ponsonby, Thistle, Tramj ways, and Y.M.C.A. It was decided to extend the closing ! date for entries for the mid-week comj petition for a further week. W. Wylie and J. Neil, of the Northcote Club, were regraded from senior to second grade. It was decided to proceed with the midget games during the interval in the second senior game at Blandford Park. Porteous, of Tramways, who was ordered off for rough play in the game against Belmont at Victoria Park on Saturday, was severely reprimanded by the judicial committee. The invitation extended to Waikato to send a representative team to meet Auckland on June 4 has been accepted by that association.
