WHITIOKA ANNUAL MEETING The Whitiora Bowling Club held its nnnjal meeting last evening, Mr. W. Burrow presiding. Expenditure totalling £482 exceeded receipts by £7l. Twice the usual amount of money had been spent on improvements during the season. The following officers were elected: Patron. Mr. B. C. Lowry; president, «r. P. R. Stewart; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. F. Choate and C. Lambert; secretary, Mr. C. W. Wycherley; treasurer, Mr. E. J. Davey; assistant-trea-surer, Mr. L. W. Hogben; auditor, Mr. E. P. Cowles; committee, Messrs. T. B- Booth, T. H. Mitchell and A. Bowns; sole selector, Mr. J. Loveridge; deputy-selector, Mr. R. Higgott; de|e*ates to South Auckland Centre, Messrs. Burrow and Wycherley; beautifying committee. Messrs. T. J. Mitchell, senr., and Stewart; coach, Mr. Higgott.
