\Y HEN “Abaydos” paid a v.a.t ** during Easter to Mr. J. R. Corrigan’s stud farm he wu greatly impressed with a three-year-old filly by Sonoma Harvester (a son of Harvester, 2.1, and Sonoma Girl, 2.41), from Bell Bingen, a daughter of Bingen and that well-known brood mare, Bertna Belle, who has given to the Ne# Zealand trotting turf such exceptionally good ones as Great Bingen, Peter Bingen, Great P*ter. Worthy Bingen and the promitinfi Brian Bingen. The filly referred to has all the appearances of a champion, and when stepped out on “Tha o** l . private track created a splandic impression by her perfect actior and glimpses of speed. The young lady was purchased at the Corngan sale by Mr. J. A. Mitch* owner of Padlock, Loch Moigh , Derby Lynn, for 395 guinea., will be known to racegoers « oma Belle. The remarkably bred juvenile will probably silk at Hastings, where she “ to command the attentio large section of trotting ® n asts.
