A message from Greenley Island says tr.e German monoplane Bremen, in jv'aieh the recent transatlantic flight from Ireland was made, has been badly damaged. She had been repaired and Junkers pilot, Mr. James Melchior, and others, attempted to flv her to New lork. The plane rose at full speed, wavered then nose-dived to the icy ground. ‘ °de of the occupants was injured. It hi now be necessary to ship the machine to where there is ground suitfor a take-off.
