SALES IN APRIL
The following are the details of the new cars sold throughout New Zealand during the month of April, 1928 (first six makes only): Chevrolet 214 Essex 218 Dodge 92 Chrysler . 87 Austin 86 Morris 79 A total of 1,337 new cars were sold during April, 887 in the North Island and 450 in the South. The month previous only 898 cars were sold, but for April 1927, the figure was 1294.
