u S. AIR PROGRESS.—The Secretary for War, Mr. Dwight Davis, told the delegates of the associated Harvard Clubs of the United States that ho would have 1,000 airports in operation at the end of the present year. He said the progress made in aviation by the United States in tin, past two years had been greater than that made by any other nation.—A.P.A.
