STUDENTS’ SEASON ENDS
AUDIENCE TAKES THE RISK Saturday evening’s performance being the final one of “Tilly in the City,” the audience went entirely “at its own risk,” but there vere no casualties. In high good humour the undergrads showered paper darts, confetti, playing cards and cat-calls on the “stalls” from strategically perfect positions in the gaUery. At one time a raw sausage was lowered over on a string and allowed to bounce on heads below. At the end of the show several speeches were made and the president of the Students’ Association thanked Auckland for its support. Air. Bryce Hart and other performers also spoke and there were calls for ‘author.” but Professor Sperrin Johnson did not appear.
