WILL SEE EXHIBITION WOMEN IN BUSINESS A distinguished visitor to Auckland’s Advertising Exhibition this week will be Miss J. A. Reynolds, cf Samson Clark and Co., of London, Sydney and Berlin, one of the best known firms in the advertising world. Miss Reynolds, who arrived by the Aorangi at Auckland yesterday, fpecially changed her plans so that she might pay the exhibition a visit. For 32 years she has been associated with the same firm, and has mere than established the claim of women in general that her sex is well qualified to deal with this important business aspect. As all the world knows women are the greatest readers of advertisements. A fellow of the Incorporated Practitioners in Advertising, Miss Reynolds is one of a small band of British women who are active heads of large business concerns. A fellow director is Mrs. E. M. Wood, C.8.E., sister of the new Lord Chancellor, Lord Hailsham, and a past president of the Women’s Advertising Club. Miss Reynolds spent five months in New Zealand in 1912.
