ENGAGEMENTS CANCELLED (United P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association) Reed. Noon. WINNIPEG, Friday. The Primate of all Canada, Dr. S. P. Matheson, whose age is 76, is seriously ill. All his engagements have been cancelled. The Most Reverend Samuel Pritchard Matheson, Archbishop of Rupert’s Land, was born in Manitobo, then the Red River Settlement. He was educated at St. John’s College School and St. John « College. Winnipeg. He became Primate of all Canada in 1909.
