“That’s My Daddy!”

NEW DENNY FARCE

For Tivoli and Princess Theatres

“That's My Daddy!” the new Reginald Denny comedy, will he screened by the O'Brien management on Thursday at their Tivoli and Princess Theatres Barbara Kent, who was the 1927 Warn gas star, plays opposite the English comedian. Others in the cast include Lillian Rich , Tom O'Brien , Jane La Verne, and Charles Coleman . "That's My Daddy!” is considered to provide Denny's best rt?c to date.

The story was written by Reginald Denny, who stars in this Universal farce, and who also wrote his previous success, “Fast and Furious." Fred Newmeyer, the man who directed Harold Lloyd for three years, came directly from the Lloyd organi sation to -direct Denny. ‘‘That's My Daddy” is an unusual picture, being in many ways a de parture from the larcical subjects m which Denny has made his name and fortune. For screaming situations the film is said to be unsurpassed. But added to all this is a touch of child pathos injected by the remarkable act- , ing of Jane La j Verne, a baby prodigy recently dis- | covered by Denny himself. The cast of this picture is excep- | tional with Barbara Kent playing the feminine lead, and Lillian Rich, the | well-known leading woman, playing I the second lead.

The story concerns the little girl befriended by Denny and is featured by a wedding on board a palatial private yacht.
