PROFESSOR AS PLAYWRIGHT

AUTHOR OF “TILLY IN THE CITY” When "Tilly in the City” descended on a pleased audience at His Majesty’s Theatre on Tuesday evening, many people were intrigued. The author was anonymous and they wished to know why. The mystery is a mystery no longer. Professor J. C. Sperrin - Johnson, Professor of Biology at the Auckland University, is the author of the book. It is perfectly obvious that some liberties have been taken with the script, but for all that Professor Sperrin-Johnson is to be congratulated on his work and need not hide his identity. He is a keen sti;dent of the stage and a consistent firstnighter.
