PRINCE EDWARD
“TEA FOR THREE” For Three,” starring Aileen Pringle and Lew Cody, now being shown at the Prince Edward Theatre, is the story of a jealous husband and a pretty wife. Aileen Pringle is the fashionable wife of a young business magnate who, however, is extremely jealous of her men friends. She is obliged to deceive him in little things involving other males in order to keep the peace, until she finds herself unwittingly involved in a plan of her husband’s best friend to “cure” her husband of his jealousy. As the plot develops, her love and her good name are vitally at stake. The action and theme are crammed with high-power thrills alternating with uproarious comedy. Lew Cody takes the part of the jealous husband, and seldom has the sophisticated Lew portrayed such subtle feelings—he is the injured but adoring husband to the last. “Ladies Must Dress,” starring Virginia Valli is on the same programme.
