The Bay of Plenty sheep dog trials were continued yesterday. Further results are:—Maiden dog, short-head pull and hold-in-ring, possible, 50 points: Mr. C. Gordon's Rock. 44! points, 1; Mr, o. Kelly’s Jock, 37i
points, 2; Mr. .T. Bird’s Scud, 34 points, 3; Mr. J. Bird’s Bob, 28* points, 4. The Bay of Plenty Electric-Power Board has received a definite promise from the Public Works Department that power will be available for the board’s requirements before the end of July. There is a possibility of the supply being available within a month.
