FAREWELL PARTY
Gay young folk met at the home of Miss H. McMechan at Papatoetoe yesterday afternoon, to bid farewell to Freda Mephan, who, with her parents, will be leaving the district in the near future. About 20 friends of the little guest attended, and spent a happy time in games and competitions. A delightful tea party was served in the spacious dining-room, which had been prettily decked with streamers, from which hung kewpies.
