CARETAKER’S JOB RUSHED
Two hundred and sixteen applications were received by the Board of Managers of the Technical College for the position of caretaker of the college. The chairman, Mr. H. S. W. King, remarked at a meeting yesterday afternoon that a final selection had been a difficult undertaking, as there were many applicants of a fine stamp. An ex-quartermaster-sergeant of the Imperial Forces and his wife, a former V.A.D., were appointed.
