MUSIC FROM HOLLAND

RADIO TEST TO-MORROW A special test transmission from the Dutch short-wave station, PCJJ. should be heard here to-morrow. Reports on the reception are asked for, and it is hoped from this data to select the most suitable locus for future transmissions. Station PCJJ is owned by the Philips Glow Lamps Company, makers of Philips electrical and radio apparatus. It is situated at Hilversum, Holland. A cable received by the Auckland Philips agent this morning gives the time of the test as from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 o.m. The wave-length is 31.4 metres. All reports should be sent to the manager of Philips Glow Lamps P.O. Box 1673, Wellington, or at bit Dilworth Buildings, Auckland.
