BLENHEIM OIL BORE

FLOW INCREASING INTEREST IN NEW PLYMOUTH Press Associaiion. NEW PLYMOUTH, To-day. Interest in petroleum operations has been revived by the renewed activity of the Blenheim bore at Moturoa. For some time operations have been directed toward plugging the bore at about 2,000 ft in order to test the strata at that depth. Lately oil has been flowing intermittently, yielding about four barrels daily, but since last night the flow has become much stronger, and is estimated at 12 barrels daily.
