“DAIRY CONTROL BOARD HAS FAILED”
MR. GOODFELLOW’S VIEWS (From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Thursday. “The Dairy Produce Control Board has failed in its objective and a reduction in its personnel and expenses is urgently desired.” Thus Mr. W. Goodfellow, managing director of the New Zealand Co-oper-ative Dairy Co., when referring to a statement credited to Mr. W. Grounds that certain dairy interests in the Waikato and Mr. W. Goodfellow, managing director of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co., had changed their attitude toward unified national marketing organisation. “The chairman of the board has misrepresented the position,” said Mr. Goodfellow, “but I will reply more fully later. It is becoming increasingly evident that the board has completely failed in its objective.”
