WARSHIPS’ MOVEMENTS. —H.M.S. Diomede came out of dock this morning and berthed at Central Wharf to complete preparations for her coming: voyage to Kngiand. She is to sail for Portsmouth on Saturday. H.M.S. Veronica is to leave Auckland on June 5 on a three months’ cruise to the South Sea Islands. H.M.S. Laburnum will also sail next, month on a cruise to the Islands, but the date of her departure has not been announced. H.M.S. Dunedin will leave Auckland on June 5 for the Hauraki Gulf, where she will carry out ten days’ gunnery exercises. Afterwards the cruiser will reI turn to Auckland and early in July she will sail on a cruise to the Islands. ST. MARY'S BAY BOAT HARBOUR.— According to a Gazette notice, St. Mary's Bay boat harbour is defined as being that portion of Auckland harbour bounded on its northern and western sides by the recently-completed breakwater and a right line drawn across its opening, and on its eastern side by a right line drawn from a position one cable westward of the base of the Freeman’s Bay reclamation in a direction 017 degrees to where it meets the recently-completed breakwater at a position 310 ft. westward of the eastern extremity of that breakwater. The small black buoy, existing on this right line, and marking the north-eastern corner of the hitherto protected area for yachts, will l>e removed, as this area has become embraced by the u< wly-established St. Mary’s Bay [ boat harbour.
