30,000 PEOPLE SEE INVERCARGILL SHOW
“SOUTHLAND IN . HISTORY” Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Wednesday. The Southland Winter Show, which was officially opened by the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. O. J. Hawken, yesterday, was continued to-day, when 30,000 people attended. There is a most comprehensive display In all sections and the exhibition is one of the best ever held by the Southland Agricultural and Pastoral Association. A pageant. “Southland in Historv,” and a military tattoo were held this evening. The pageant was a striking spectacular display, with representations of incidents in the history of the province from the very early days to the present time, _
