ONE TREE HILL DOMAIN BOARD’S ANNUAL MEETING At the annual meeting of the One Tree Hill Domain Board yesterday, Mr. A. S. Bankart was elected chairman and Mr. J. Rowe chairman of the Works Committee. The other members in attendance were: Mr. W. J. Jordan, Mr. Charles Bayley, Mr. H. E. Dobbie (chairman, One Tree Hill Road Board) and Mr. W. A. Coldicutt (Mayor of Onehunga). The secretary, Mr. H. Yockney, reported that the expenses of the board were £194, and that next year + he revenue would be only £175; this year only the minimum of work had been done and it had been possible to increase the reserve fund. Mr. Rowe remarked that nothing could be done with the main road, as there- were no “ mds. Mr. Bankart: Possibly Mr. Jordan, M.P., who is with us, can get the Government to give us £5,000 or £6,000. Mr. Jordan: If we do not get it we should at least turn the Government i out. Mr. Bankart: Well, not turn them out, but express eur dissatisfaction. Mr. Dobbie raised the uestion of taking scoria from the cone; he was informed that only abo-t 50 yards a year was taken for use of the Domain Road.
