MR. COATES ON NEW PARTY Few Ministers of the Crown have not hurled a good-humoured brickbat at the United Political Party. The Prime Minister added his while speaking here this evening. “The most disunited thing ever offered the country,” is the term he applied to the organisation, which he declared was leaderless and without policy. “There can be only two parties in New Zealand —Reform and Labour,” he added. “A third party will not fit, but will help Labour to office.”
