MEDICAL STUDENTS TRAIN AT HOSPITAL
KEEN AND EFFICIENT - Kin© medical students are at present attending the Auckland Hospital for clinical instruction. A course of clincal instruction for sixth-year students has been inaugurated, and is being most successfully conducted. Seven out of eight medical students who received, instruction last year at the hospital passed the final examination in December. “The students are very keen workers, and their conduct in the wards is most exemplary,” reported the superintendent (Dr. Maguire) to the Hospital Board yesterday. He added: “The knowledge these young men are gaining in the hospital will he an invaluable asset to them in after life. This is also to the advantage of the hospital, as the majority will probably become residents after they qualify.”
