COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Apanui arrived at noon to-day from Totara North, Houhora, Kaimaumau, and Parenga, and sails again at midnight for Great Barrier. The Omana sailed at 10 a.m. to-day for Waiheke, and returns at 6.15 o’clock this evening. She sails at 9.30 a.m. tomorrow for Kawau, Mullet Point, and Matakana. The Pono leaves Auckland for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point, a<nd Waipu at 3 p.m. to-day, and is due back about Sunday. The Matangi sails at 7 p.m. to-day for Tauranga, and is due back at 7 a.m. on Friday. The Rangitoto sailed for Thames at ten o’clock this morning. She returns to Auckland at 7.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Hauiti sailed at 10 a.m. to-day for Kopu and Turua. She is expected back in Auckland at 6 p.m. to-morrow. The Toa arrived in Auckland from Hokianga yesterday, and sailed for Whakatane at noon to-day. The Taniwha is due in Auckland at 11.30 p.m. to-day from Paeroa. She sails on the return trip at 8.30 p.m. to -morrow.
The Kawau sails at 8 a.m. to-morrow for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point, Little and Big Omaha, returning at eleven o’clock the same evening. The Claymore is due at 3.30 a.m. tomorrow from W'hangarei, and sails on the return trip at 4 p.m. the same day. The Baron Fairlie leaves Auckland on Saturday for New Plymouth, where she completes her discharge of basic slag from Antwerp. . ..... The Queen Eleanor, in continuation of her voyage from St. John and New York, leaves here on Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Port Dunedin should leave Dunedin to-day #6r Lyttelton and New Plymouth, to complete her discharge of London cargo. , .. The Nauru Chief was moved to the Queen’s Wharf this morning to take on board bunkers before leaving to-morrow evening for Nauru Island to load for Mesopotamia sails from Wanganui to-day for Westport for bunkers thence Ocean Islands to load for New Zealand leaves Auckland about Friday for Westport for bunkers before proceeding to Nauru Island to load. The Gunbar sailed from Auckland early this morning for East Coast baj s, Gisborne and Napier. The Kaiwarra, which arrived here yesterday, sails on Friday for Portland, where she loads cement for Wellington and Lyttelton. _ _ , . The Kartigi has been barbound at Westport, but it was hoped she would be able to clear outward this morning for Napier and Auckland. The Kurow leaves Bluff at noon today, via Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, for Auckland. The Kaitangata, from Greymouth, arrived at Napier at 8.30 p.m. yesterday, and sails at noon to-morrow for Auckland, where she is due on Saturday. The Kaponga, which has been barbound at Westport, was to leave there this morning for New Plymouth and Auckland. The Wingatui leaves Dunedin to-mor-row, via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland. The Waimea, which left Auckland yesterday for Gisborne and Napier, returns here on Sunday next.
