CHARITY CLUB DANCE
SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION Scots Hall was thronged with dancers last evening when the Shop Assistants’ Union Charity Club held a most successful dance in aid of the various charities it helps with its entertainments. Bendall’s Collegians provided excellent music, and the floor, which was in splendid condition, and the charming decorations of the hall, added to the enjoyment of the many members and their friends who attended. Committee ladies present included:— Miss PurceH, secretary, Miss Stymettz, assistant-secretary, Miss Roiall, Miss Christie, Miss Horspool, Miss D. Patten, Miss E. Svenson, Mrs. E. J. Burgess, Miss Goodwin, Miss E. Davies, Miss Z. Mills and Miss I. Walsh. Among the dancers were:— Mrs. Pearte, dainty frock of tomato georgette beaded in silver. Mrs. Lanigan, gown of floral crepe de chine. Mi's. Clark, black georgette and lace model worn over black crepe de chine. Miss Townsend, gown of cardinal velvet. Miss Philpott, frock of flame satin and gold lace. Miss Yuill, beige rose patterned crepe de chine. Miss Andreasson, frock of cyclamen satin with uneven hem line defined with cyclamen ribbon velvet. Miss Fisher, turquoise blue crepe de chine. Miss Autridge,. kingfisher crepe de chine with diamante relief. Miss McKibbon, mandarin blue satin gown. Miss May Arthur, frock of cyclamen figured georgette with circular skirt. Miss Wells, apricot satin gown with floral appliqued relief.
