EX-HUNTLY LEAGUER DOES WELL AT HOME
A brother of Huia Mason (who this year is playing for Huntly), Len Mason, one of the Huntly team in past seasons, is now playing for Wigan, and is still playing as well as ever. In a recent match against St. Helen’s Rees at Central Park, in which the latter were beaten by 13 to nil. Mason scored two of the three tries obtained, and his good play was favourably commented on. One writer said, “In the forwards he did some very destructive work, and his attacking powers were by no means limited.
