WITHIN SIX MONTHS
NEW MUSEUM MAY BE COMPLETED The Auckland Museum authorities hope to be in possession of the new building in the Domain within the next six months. The delay in completing the new building, it Is suggested, has seriously hindered the plans of the council, but “everything possible has been done.” The erection of show cases and other fittings is the next work to be done. After that every endeavour will be made by the Citizens’ Committee and the Institute to expedite the official opening.
