HAMILTON RUGBY

SOME EXCITING CONTESTS (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. The two senior Rugby games played at Rugby Park on Saturday were closely followed by a large number of enthusiasts. The Old Boys v. Technical Old Boys match, was a very fast, open game, and the ground was in excellent order. Old Boys had the better of the first half, the half-time score being Old Boys 14, Technical College Old Boys 0. After the spell. Technical Old Boys woke up a bit and the public was delighted with the spectacular play. The bell sounded with the scores: Old Boys 14, Technical Old Boys 9. The other match, Marist v.| Frankton, was very exciting, but it was a forward game. Frankton held its own for the first half, the half-time score being Frankton 3, Marist 0. In the second half Frankton was very tired but tried its hradest to keep the Marist forwards back, but the Marist pack was too heavy and it broke through. The game ended: Frankton 3, Marist 11.
