OUTCOME OF COLLISION DRANK EIGHT BEERS At the Otahuhu Police Court this morning, Henry McGregor was charged before Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M.. with negligently driving a motor-car on the Great South Road, resulting in a collision, considerably damaging his car. In his statement McGregor admitted drinking eight small bottles of beer during the afternoon. His counsel, in pleading guilty, contended that this did not affect his driving ability. McGregor was fined £5, together with costs totalling £4 7s and his licence was cancelled.
