GOOD DEMAND FOR PEARS There is an active demand for pears, as the South African supplies have finished. Quotations are:—Comorins, Tasmanian trays, Winter Coles, 4s 6d to 5s 6d; Bosos, 5s to 6s 6d; Comice, 6s to Ss Gd; Victorian boxes, Nelis, Josephines, Bosch, ISs to 20s; Clairgeau, 12s to 14s; Vicars, 10s to 12s; New Zealand trays, Nelis, 4s to 6s; Josephines, 4s 6d to 6s; Bosos, 4s 6d to ss; Barry, 3s to 3s 6d.
