Public Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of Section 108 of the Road Boards Act, 1908, Sections 51 to 55 of The Rating Act, 1925, Section 41 of The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, Section 140 of the Public Health Act, 1920, Section 56 of The Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908, and all other powers it thereunto enabling, the One Tree Hill Road Board proposes to Make and Levy the following Rates on WEDNESDAY, • JUNE 6, 1928, for the year commencing on April 1, 1928, and ending on March 31, 1929: 1. A General rate of One Shilling and One Penny (1/1) in the £ on the Annual Value of all Rateable Property in the One Tree Hill Road District. 2. A Lighting Rate of Threepence (3d) in the £ on the Annual Value of all Rateable Property in the One Tree Hill Road District. 3. A Hospital Rate of Fourpence threefarthings (43d) in the £ on the Annual Value of all Rateable Property in the One Tree Hill Road District. 4. A Drainage Rate of Twopence threefarthings (23d) in the £ on the Annual Value of all Rateable Property in the Drainage area as defined by the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908. 5.
