Two bridesmaids were in attendance, Miss Alison Cooke and .Miss Hazel Preston. They wore quaint frocks of gobelin blue shot taffeta, lightly relieved with rosebud trimming with Rose Marie ribbon bands in place of veils. Their bouquets were of blue larkspur and pink rosebuds. Mr. Edgar Preston was best man and Mr. Roy Kelly acted as groomsman.

After the ceremony a reception was, held at the Tower Rooms, where the bride’s mother wore a gown of black crepe de chine with touches of cyclamen, and hat to tone.
