MUNICIPAL CONCERT

AT TOWN HALL ON WEDNESDAY Continuing the municipal concerts in the Town Hall on Wednesday evening next, the Municipal Band and soloists, with vocal assistance by Miss Nellie Lingard, will present a programme of much charm and variety Tschaikowsky’s great “1812” overture, Liszt’s No. 2 Rhapsody, and “The Dance of the Hours” are the three outstanding items among the band contributions. Mr. Fred Bowes will play as a cornet solo Schubert’s “Serenade” and Mr. McLennan will play Krantz’s Seventh Grand Solo for the flute. Miss Nellie Lingard will sing several charming ballads, with Mr. Leo Whittaker at the piano.
