RUSH AT R.SA. ROOMS Like the booking office of a big theatrical attraction, was the office of the Auckland Returned Soldiers’ Association this morning. Men were waiting in the passages and in the club-rooms and the telephone was ringing like an alternating alarm. About 40 people were granted Interviews by Mr. E. H. Sharp, and his two assistants. Seventeen cf the men wanted work and casual Jobs were found for half a dozen of then*. Many of the others came in about pensions, and the applications were considered. Office hours are supposed to be from 9 until 12, but t 12.30 the secretary was just about to start on the routine work of the day.
