MISCHIEVOUS BOYS

DISTURBANCE ON TRAIN TORE BUTTONS FROM SEATS Finding the railway journey from Papakura to Auckland monotonous, four boys tore the buttons from the carriage seats and threw them about, as well as annoying their fellow-pas-sengers in other ways. The quartet appeared before Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., in the Children’s Court this morning. When asked for his name by a porter who happened to be in plain clothes the leader of the party had told the inquirer to mind his own business. The other boys had behaved sensibly and were sorry for their misbehaviour.

The boy who had taken the leading part in the mischief was ordered to pay costs, 30s 6d.
