FORMER MAYOR DEAD
RESIDENT OF HASTINGS Press Association. HASTINGS, To-day. The death has occurred of Mr. William Toung IDennett, aged 83, a prominent resident of Hastings and Napier for over 60 years. Deceased came to Hastings 50 years ago, and took an active part in public life, being Mayor for five years, and holder of many other public He took part in the Maori War with the Napier militia.
