War Pensions Appeals.—The War Pensions Appeal Board will sit in Auckland later in the month under the presidency of Sir Walter Stringer. Trains to Whangarei.—Train arrangements in connection with the Whangarei Winter Show and Shopping Carnival Week are announced in the Railway Department’s advertisement in this issue. Particulars concerning the issue of holiday excursion tickets are also given.
