HOUSE DESTROYED
FIRE AT TAKAPUNA A six-roomed house at Castor Bay was destroyed by fire early this morning. Nothing was saved. The housa was owned and occupied by Mr. H. Tresize. The flames had a good grip and had destroyed the interior before the Takapuna Fire Brigade arrived. Castor Bay is outside the borough boundary and has no water supply. Nothing could be done to save the building.
