ROWLEY IN FORM

JT'OLLOWERS of cricket in Auckland have been pleased to learn that E. H. Bowley, for the past two seasons coach to the Auckland Cricket Association, has made a good start again in England. His first three innings

for Sussex yielded 61, 76 and 144, and he also took four wickets for 34. Bowley is one of' several fighting for the last places in the all-England test teams to tour Australia next summer, ahd before he left these shores he stated

that if he batted well and took wickets early in the season his chances of going to Australia were bright. Bowley is recognised as the best fine slip in the Old Country.
