BRITANNIA
“ONE WOMAN TO ANOTHER” Florence Vidor, starring in “One Woman to Another,” is now at the Britannia Theatre. The story tells of Rita Farrell and John Bruce, who are engaged to be married, but have put it off quite often. They at last make up their minds when an uncle asks Rita to care for his daughter while he is away. Rita consents to the charge. That idea doesn’t hit so well in John’§ mind, but he admits that a six months’ delay would be necessary. He continues his suit, until Rita’s niece is stricken with scarlet fever, and a quarantine is placed about the home. Rita cannot go out, nor can John enter. So John becomes the recipient of many an invitation from a certain Miss Chapin, a beautiful blone, who considers him the catch of the season. “Sailors’ Wives,” the second feature on the programme, is an unusual story dealing with modern married life, starring Lloyd Hughes and Mary Astor.
